The Inevitable Truth

The moment we are born, time starts ticking away. Days pass by in a blink of an eye, day becomes night, a person is here one day and not the next, fading away is inevitable. Be it a day, a week, a year, a decade, 50 years or even 100 years down the road.

The common perception is that you should enjoy your life to the fullest, whilst you have the time to do so! Have a job that pays a decent salary, enjoy all of life’s pleasures (food, booze, sex etc.) and then when death comes knocking you let it. That’s life for many, simple straightforward and easy.

Then there are the select few (I would say 10% of the global population) that want to actually make a difference in their time on earth. Seeing pain, suffering and injustice drives some; where else some are driven by the mere need to be successful. That hunger inside of you that needs to be satiated! Whichever group you belong to, you are choosing to be different! To go against the grain and to create change. That is commendable and I have nothing but respect for each and every one of you.

For this 10% I want to tell you that, no matter how lonely and painful this road is… you need to continue going down it. Other’s will not understand it, you will be faced with countless opinions, you will experience negativity from everyone around you (even family) and you will doubt yourself more often than not.

But at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is… YOU!

Your dreams, your vision, your passion, your life, your decisions… Everything boils down to you, yes people will join you on this journey but no one can live it for you. Make a decision to chase your dreams and never stop for one day you will get there.
