Be Human, it's time.
In this highly connected era, we need to stop and start behaving like humans.
LIFE COACHING
Something that is so simple is often overlooked by many of us (yes humans) across the globe. We prioritise wealth, our career and success over everything else in life. We constantly compare ourselves to everyone around us and at times treat people like shit!
See if any of the below example jog your memory 🤷♂️
Have you ever been in a company where they are more interested in REVENUE... REVENUE…REVENUE… and overlook your #mentalstate and #emotionalstate?

How about when you are on social media? I am sure you have seen countless number of posts on your Instagram feed that shows people with the latest gadgets, dining in high end posh restaurants and have that banging body and wonder how do these people afford all of this… If i worked at this job for the rest of my life, I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD THIS!!!
Or how about the fact that some bosses and people think that in order to climb up the corporate ladder you have to ‘kill yourself’ in the process. Spending long hours in the office, taking on an incredible amount of work that supposed to be split over a few people and then there is this ridiculous saying that
‘If you are good at what you do, more work will follow before getting a promotion and a pay raise’!
I understand where that saying came from, but I think that its insane that I have to go through hell in order to be paid what I am worth… How is that fair? How is that treating us like #humans? Companies should treat people like people (yeah IKR), when organisations treat people like resources; that’s where the problem is.
People go through burn out, their relationships suffer, their health suffer and their ambition dies. That’s why so many of us resort to just getting paid for a arbitrary salary that is benchmarked against a market standard. We are satisfied with an annual pay increment and are ‘happy’ with ANY JOB that gets us through the day, that pays for the bills, keeps a roof over us and puts food on the table. #survivalinstinct.
I empathise that circumstances might not be in your favour to switch jobs and get something that you are passionate about. But the case that I am putting forth is not about PASSION, its about organisations being human.
If they start doing that, more people would stop treating a job as just a job and you can maximize the potential of your employees and thus, gaining a long term return on investment (money you put into your employees, will pay you dividends in the long run) and most importantly the workplace will be #positive. People will want to join your company for those that are in there or have left will speak volumes of what you have done.
